Which one do you need?
There are lawyers and mediators, and some are both. But mediators are not always lawyers and lawyers are not always trained as mediators.
How do you choose what you need when you find yourself in conflict?
You may need a lawyer if you are unsure of your rights and obligations, or if you need to take formal steps to enforce or protect those rights and obligations. Sometimes the choice is taken from you and you have no option but to assert or defend your position.
In many other situations, this is not necessary stress or expense and a mediator can assist you to find a solution without the stress, cost and time associated with traditional legal pathways to resolution.
Because we are both, we have experience on both sides and can help you decide the right path for your situation.
